Toxic Blue Light
Harmful blue light interrupts the body's natural circadian rhythm. This affects the production of melatonin, the natural chemical that regulates sleep. Without sleep, cells start to break down, leading to fatigue and chronic health issues. All of our Sulmo Series solves these blue light issues with red light infused lighting. From our entry level light the Sulmo Eco 5 CCT to our most advanced Sulmo Ray with Soft Glow.

Human Visual
Throughout evolution, the human visual system has evolved under the natural light of sun and fire. These light sources have standardized industry spectral power definitions that describe the state of natural light. Lighting specifiers, designers, and luminaire manufacturers regularly consider color quality metrics such as CRI and TM-30, as well as individual spectral power distributions (SPDs), when making decisions regarding light source selection. However, until now, there has been no metric that quantifies the naturalness of a light source. Average Spectral Difference (ASD) provides an objective measurement of how closely a light source matches natural light over the visible spectrum, averaging the differences of the spectral peaks and valleys between a light source and a standardized natural light source of the same CCT.
Why Ovid?
LED Lighting is associated with energy savings however the toxic blue light is the by product many are unfamiliar with. Our complex process eliminates toxic blue light with the infusion of RED. The result, vivid colors, no toxic blue light. The minimum 95 CRI standard we set ensures light is no longer about just energy savings but becomes part of feeling good. Less eyestrain, better relaxation, better sleep.
Superior Science
Engineered to provide the closest match to natural light available using proprietary chip, phosphor technology, Ovid brings full spectrum natural light indoors, to incorporate circadian elements that may impact human well-being. The high-fidelity spectral output of Ovid creates stunning environments with excellent color rendering and outstanding TM-30 metrics. Target applications include office, education, healthcare, retail, hospitality, architectural, museums, and residential lighting.

THANK YOU! I hated LED lighting as I suffered from migraines with them. I was looking to go back to halogen lighting but was finding it very difficult to source. A friend suggested these lights and I THANK them everyday I see them. The lights remind me of a halogen colors again.
My kids are much more calmer before bed and sleep better with these lights as they have the ability to warm in color when I dim it creating a more natural setting in my home.
Vivid colors indeed, much better at night in my home as the previous lights with 80 CRI were miserable. The 95 CRI is definitely much more noticeable in my home. Floors are brighter, kitchen is brighter. Very happy I changed out my old LED lighting with this Ovid Brand.
Love the soft glow feature with my automation system. Before bed my kids rooms dim down to 1800K like a sunset in there rooms. Great product!
The only brand we have come across that has a Soft Glow feature with 4000K! As we love the white color during the day but wanted some yellow hues at night before bed. These lights dim from 4000K white to 3000K yellow. Best of both worlds without any complex apps or automation needed. Just a dimmer.
Two Tone was the game changer Sulmo Ray Dark. The trim is white on my ceiling so it does not make my ceiling look heavy and has a regressed black interior to match my doors accents and windows.
